When we launched “Question Roulette” last year, our aim was simple – to show businesses and the people behind them in a slightly different light. No long presentations, no pre-prepared speeches and no corporate catchphrases.
Instead, we opted for a spontaneous conversation format, where participants draw questions and answer them on camera. The result? More authentic content, interesting stories and a chance to get to know companies from a more human point of view.
Since the first episode, we have visited several well-known companies and brands in Latvia, including Augļu Serviss, Novatore, Solwit and Ziedu Ekspresis. Each episode has been different, but they all have one thing in common – people much prefer to watch real personalities rather than perfectly polished ads.
Why does this format work?
Social media users see hundreds of ads every day. That’s why content that looks natural and relaxed is becoming increasingly important.
“Question Roulette” allows:
- introduce the team to the audience;
- show the company’s culture and values
- create light and entertaining content;
- reach audiences without the feel of traditional advertising;
- build brand loyalty
In addition, participants are often surprised by the interesting and unexpected answers that emerge in spontaneous conversation.
Not just entertainment
While the format is light and entertaining, it is also an effective personal and corporate branding tool. Many episodes have received not only views and reactions after publication, but also comments from clients, partners and potential employees who have seen the team for the first time in this informal setting. Often, it is videos like these that help to show what can’t be put in the ‘About us’ section of a website.
Looking for our next members
After the success of the first episodes, we are continuing to film “Question Roulette” and are looking for new companies to take part.
